Delhi COVID-19 Update: The number of cases of Kovid (COVID-19) in the country’s capital Delhi is not taking the name of decreasing. However, on May 9, 799 new cases of corona have been reported in Delhi, which is slightly less in the number of daily numbers. At the same time, 3 Kovid patients also died on 9 May, while the infection rate has come down a bit, it has now come down to 4.94 percent from less than 5. Before this, till May 8, the number of Kovid patients in Delhi had gone up to over a thousand.

Earlier on Sunday i.e. on May 8, in the report of Corona in the capital Delhi, it was told that in the last 24 hours, 1422 new cases of corona have been reported. However, on May 8, no patient died of corona in Delhi. At the same time, on May 8, the corona infection rate in Delhi was higher than today, it had reached 5.34 percent.

Active cases reached beyond 6 thousand in the capital Delhi
According to the report of 8 May, 26647 tests were conducted in Delhi in the last 24 hours and 1438 patients were cured. At present, there are a total of 5939 active cases of corona in Delhi and the number of containment zones has increased to 1896. For the last few days, there has been a steady increase in corona cases in Delhi.

There were so many cases in the last days
According to the Health Bulletin of the Delhi Government, with the new cases, the total cases of Kovid-19 infection in the capital have now increased to 18,94,254, while the death toll has risen to 26,179. Earlier, on Saturday, 1,407 corona virus infection cases were reported in the capital Delhi with a positivity rate of 4.72 percent and two patients died during this period. At the same time, 1,656 cases of Kovid-19 were registered in the city on Friday, which is the highest since February 4. During this, the Kovid positivity rate was 5.39 percent.

The death toll from Corona in the country reached 5,24,093
Talking about the whole country, in the last 24 hours, 3,207 new cases of corona have been reported. On the other hand, a total of 3,451 cases were reported on Sunday. The Union Health Ministry gave this information on Monday. Apart from this, 29 people have died due to corona in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll across the country to 5,24,093.
