4 percent increase possible

Retail inflation data for April is expected to be released on May 12. According to the news, in view of the speed with which the inflation is increasing, the government can take a big decision to give relief to the employees soon. It is estimated that in July, employees can be given an increase of up to four percent DA.

Let us tell you that recently the DA of central employees was increased by three percent, which has now increased to 34 percent. The Central Government had increased the ‘DA’ of its personnel at the end of March 2022. The new rates are applicable from January 1, 2022.
