Aiden Markram Ruled out of IND vs SA T20 Series: South African batsman Aiden Markram will not be able to play even the last two matches of the T20 series against India. He has been dropped from the African team. He could not even play the first three matches of this series. He was found to be Kovid-19 positive just before the start of the T20 series between India and South Africa (IND vs SA T20 Series). After this he was in isolation for the last seven days. Now he will go straight towards home.
Cricket South Africa issued a statement saying, ‘Proteas batsman Aidan Markram has been ruled out of the remainder of the South Africa team’s tour of India. He has spent seven days in isolation after being found Kovid-19 positive and will not be able to complete the return schedule in the remaining matches of the T20 series on time.

Along with this, Cricket South Africa has also given an update on Quinton de Kock’s injury. The official statement said, ‘Wicketkeeper batsman Quinton de Kock’s wrist injury has improved well. The Proteas medical team is constantly monitoring his recovery. Soon a decision will be taken on his availability in the fourth T20.
South Africa lead 2-1 in the series
South Africa is currently leading 2-1 in the five-match T20 series (IND vs SA T20 Series). The Proteas took a 2-0 lead in the series after winning the first two T20Is. After this, India returned to the series by winning the do or die match. Now the fourth match between the two teams will be played on June 17 at Saurashtra Cricket Stadium in Rajkot.
