UP News: A Delhi Police vehicle was hit by a truck on the National Highway in Gajraula area of Amroha. Sub-Inspector Subhash Chandra (50) died in this incident that happened on Monday evening. Subhash, posted at Delhi’s Harinagar police station, was trying to rescue a kidnapped girl (17) and take her back from Bareilly. The girl, her relatives and a head constable were injured in this incident. All three have been admitted to Amroha hospital while the sub-inspector’s body has been sent for post-mortem.
The truck driver escaped after this accident on National Highway-24. Police have registered a case against him by taking possession of the truck. On the other hand, Gajraula SHO Rajesh Tiwari said that we have informed Delhi Police about the accident. The teenager was handed over to Delhi Police on Tuesday morning.

At the same time, Delhi’s Harinagar SHO has also confirmed the incident. He told the whole story from the kidnapping of the girl to the accident. SHO, Harinagar said that the girl was abducted by an unidentified person a few days back. The girl’s family had lodged a complaint against her. During the investigation of the case, the location of the accused was found in Bareilly. After this, a police team was formed under the leadership of Sub-Inspector Subhash Chandra and Head Constable. This team reached Bareilly and raided on Monday morning and recovered the girl. They were bringing him to Delhi when an accident happened on the way.
