Landslide in Sikkim After Heavy Rain: In the northern states of the country, where the heat is wreaking havoc. At the same time, the continuous rain in the North Eastern states has put common life in a lot of trouble. Due to the torrential rains in Sikkim for the past two days, 8 people are being reported trapped in the landslide on the national highway.
According to the information, the Indian Army has started a rescue operation to rescue the people buried due to the landslide. In which the army rescued 8 people who were buried and sent them to the military hospital for treatment. In which a person died during treatment.

NH officials have informed that this landslide incident took place in the mess room of AG Construction Company around 17th Mile on Gangtok-Nathula Highway, in which some laborers were feared trapped. As soon as the information was received, the army took the front and engaged the team of Black Cat Division in their rescue work.
After the army team rescued a total of eight people from the debris after the landslide, they were admitted to the nearest military hospital for treatment. Where a person died during treatment. According to the information, the person who died has been identified as Kalu Tamang, 35, who hails from Arunachal Pradesh.
