Assam Madrasa Demolished: In Moriabadi, located in Morigaon district of Assam, the Assam Police along with the administration started a bulldozer on an illegally run madrasa in the early hours of today. During this, tight security arrangements were made. The police demolished the madrasa in the presence of the magistrate.

Let us tell you that in a village located in Moriyabari of Morigaon district of Assam, a madrasa was being operated for the last several years. It is alleged that the teaching of Jihad was given to the children in this madrasa. Police is also investigating that in which other areas of Assam such madrasas are being run where children are being trained to become jihadis.

Training to become jihadi was being given in madrassa

According to the police, a man named Mustafa, who belonged to Bangladesh Ansurlah Bangla organization, was training children to become jihadis in the madrassa. The group is said to be related to the terrorist organization Al Qaeda. It is being told that this madrasa was active here for the last several years, in which training was given to strengthen jihadi activities against India. However, after registering a case, the police have started investigating more information related to it.

Police engaged in checking bank details

Let us tell you that a few days ago a Kolkata-based person named Amiruddin Ansari was arrested for having contact with the Ansar Ullah Bangla team. The police have found records of the financial transactions of Mustafa arrested with that person. Money has been transacted between these two many times. The police is now engaged in scouting Mustafa’s bank details.

Suspicious person given shelter in madrasa

The police have got another important information. According to which, the accused Mustafa had given shelter to a suspicious person from another country in his madrasa in the year 2019. The police has also started gathering information about who was the person whom Mustafa had given shelter in his madrasa. The arrested person is said to be active in many anti-national activities. According to the police, Mustafa started the madrasa in the year 2018. He had earlier trained in Uttar Pradesh and Bhopal and studied Jihad.

Morigaon SP Arpana Natarajan said that according to the Assam Disaster Management Act, this madrasa has been demolished. He told that the police have also found many objectionable books including many suspicious videos and documents in the mobile of the accused, which we are investigating.
