Rajasthan News: In Bharatpur district of Rajasthan, two unidentified masked miscreants shot and injured a student. Two masked men riding a bike shot and injured a BA student going home for the examination near Bansi village on the Jaipur-Agra national highway in Sever police station area of the district. In the firing, Pankaj, a resident of village Bhadira under Nadbai police station area, was shot and fell on the road. People passing by took the injured student to the hospital and informed the police.

When the condition of the injured student became critical, the student has been referred to Jaipur for treatment. Police is investigating the matter by recording the statement of the injured student, so that the shooters can be identified and arrested. The injured student Pankaj studies at his sister’s house in Bilauth village of Nadbai tehsil. From there he had come to Bharatpur to take the examination and was returning after giving the examination. Then the miscreants chasing him on the way opened fire on him.
Referred to Jaipur for treatment
After giving the examination, he reached about two kilometers ahead of the Ludhawai toll plaza on his bike, when two masked miscreants came from behind and shot Pankaj and fled. Seeing Pankaj lying in an injured condition on the road, a young man coming out of there reached him and informed the ambulance and the police. When the police and the ambulance did not reach early, the youth admitted the injured student to the hospital with the help of a car driver. Pankaj’s condition remains critical, he has been referred to Jaipur.
What did the police say?
According to Sever police station in-charge Arun Chaudhary, Pankaj was going to his sister’s house after giving a test. At the same time, two masked miscreants came from behind who shot Pankaj. Police has started identifying the miscreants on the basis of CCTV footage.
