Bharti Airtel Q4 Results: Telecom company Bharti Airtel has declared the results of the fourth quarter of the financial year 2021-22. And during this period, there has been a jump of 164.46 percent in the company’s profit. The company’s profit stood at Rs.2007.8 crores as compared to Rs.759.2 crores in the previous year. The board of Bharti Airtel has also announced a dividend of Rs 3 per share to the shareholders on a share having a face value of Rs 5.
Airtel’s revenue up 22 percent
Bharti Airtel’s revenue grew 22 percent to Rs 31,500 crore in the fourth quarter. Earlier, revenue in the quarter was Rs 29,867 crore. Whereas in the fourth quarter of the last financial year, the revenue was Rs 25,747 crore.
Airtel’s ARPU increased
Bharti Airtel’s average revenue per user (ARPU) in the fourth quarter has been Rs 178. Whereas in the third quarter it was Rs 163 and in the same quarter of last year it was Rs 145. Bharti Airtel has set a target of achieving ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) of Rs 200 in the short term and Rs 300 in the long term.
Airtel shares rise
Bharti Airtel results came after the stock market closed. Earlier, the share of Bharti Airtel closed at Rs 707 with a jump of 2 per cent today.
