MP News: Incidents of bike theft were increasing continuously in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Daily bike theft reports were being filed in the police stations. It was also considered a big challenge for the police to catch the bike thief gang, but after the instructions from the police headquarters, the station in-charge started the checking campaign by putting checking points in all the police stations of Bhopal city. Meanwhile, Ashoka Garden Police was checking the vehicle. During this, seeing the police, two youths started running away with bikes. The police got suspicious of these people and after siege caught both the bike riders. Police is interrogating the accused by bringing them to the police station.

Actually, the said vehicle was checked through the VD portal in the police station. After which it was found that the said vehicle was stolen from the police station Ashoka Garden in the past. Both the accused have been identified as Amit Rathore alias Last and Dharmendra Singh. Both these accused live in Bhopal. Before these accused, the police asked for the documents of the motorcycle. After which the accused told the police that they did not have the documents of the vehicle. The police strictly interrogated both the accused. During interrogation, both the accused confessed to stealing about 10 vehicles from Ashoka Garden police station.

The accused Amit Rathore alias Last and Dharmendra Singh were arrested and presented before the court. The court sent the accused on police remand for four days. During the remand, both the accused confessed to stealing from police station Ashoka Garden, police station Bajaria, police station Mangalwara, police station Hanumanganj, police station Govindpur, police station Kohefiza, police station TT Nagar, police station MP Nagar area and Indore district of Bhopal district.

The accused have confessed to stealing 37 bikes. The accused told that we have arrested Deepak Raghuvanshi. Village Kharia Jagir Police Station Haidergarh District Vidisha and Kishan Sen No. Village Khiria Jagir police station Haidergarh district Vidisha and Dinesh Chauria Ni.Gram Amarpura police station Siddiqganj district Sehore were given about 20 bikes for sale. Police has also told that important clues have also been received in relation to other bikes, on the basis of which efforts are on to recover other vehicles.

TI Alok Srivastava also told that Dharmendra had a Dhaba in Indore. Kishan used to look after the work of supplying liquor here, while Amit was a waiter, when the lockdown was imposed, it was Dharmendra who took the entire cost of Kishan and Amit. During this, Dharmendra’s debt increased and the dhaba was also closed, after which Dharmendra and Kishan started vehicle thefts in Indore to repay the friend’s debt. Both the accused used to transfer the rest of the money to Dharmendra, keeping some part of the amount received on the sale of the vehicle with them. After this both came to Bhopal and kept on stealing here too. The arrested accused are fond of drugs and non-veg.
