Patna, There is a political stir in the state regarding the caste census. After Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, now BJP has also reacted on this. Agriculture Minister Amarendra Pratap Singh has directly said from the BJP quota that the Bihar government will not run at the behest of Tejashwi Yadav. Amarendra Pratap Singh said that the Leader of Opposition had requested to meet the Chief Minister within 48 hours. The Chief Minister called the Leader of the Opposition to meet him within 24 hours. This is the democratic way. It is not proper to say anything on this.
However, the Agriculture Minister avoided saying anything on Tejashwi and Nitish Kumar’s one-to-one meeting. On the caste census, the BJP leader said that in Manmohan Singh’s government for 10 years, Tejashwi’s father Lalu Prasad Yadav was in the lead role. Was there no need for caste census at that time? Why was this demand not made at that time? Let us inform that RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav is engaged in besieging the central government and BJP regarding the caste census. For this, he had also announced to travel on foot from Patna to Delhi.
JDU said- some people are doing politics on the issue of development
On Tejashwi Yadav’s meeting with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, JDU state president Umesh Kushwaha said that some people are doing politics even on the issue of development. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s concern is about the development of Bihar. In the same episode, he had met Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, but some opposition parties are now doing politics on this too. This is not appropriate.

Pappu Yadav attacked Tejashwi
Jan Adhikar Party supremo Pappu Yadav attacked Tejashwi Yadav amidst the ruckus over caste census in Bihar, saying that a person who cannot cycle for two kilometers, how will he go from Patna to Delhi on foot? Pappu Yadav claimed that Tejashwi Yadav cannot walk from Patna to Delhi for seven births. When Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has said that caste census will be conducted, then why the ruckus?
No agreement on caste census
On this, RJD state president Jagdanand Singh said that RJD will not compromise on caste census. The Chief Minister gave time to meet Tejashwi Yadav, but this demand will continue continuously. Here, the Congress has objected to the one-to-one meeting between the Leader of the Opposition and the Chief Minister. Congress Legislature Party leader Ajit Sharma said that the caste census is for the interest of the public. This demand is justified, but the Leader of Opposition should have united and met the Chief Minister after talking to all the parties.
