Patna: Former Union Minister Sharad Yadav was produced in Bihar Sharif Court in Nalanda district of Bihar on Tuesday. During this, he was convicted by the Bihar Sharif Court in the violation of the Model Code of Conduct. The court has imposed a fine of two and a half thousand rupees on him. Sharad Yadav’s court appearance took place in virtual mode through Google Meet. In-charge ACJM Forest Vimlendu Kumar joined Google Meet and informed about the allegation against Sharad Yadav. On this, the former Union Minister accepted his crime in the case of violation of the Model Code of Conduct.

After this, former MP Sharad Yadav was fined separately under sections of the Indian Penal Code. He was fined one thousand and 500 rupees each, i.e. a total of two and a half thousand rupees, which his advocate deposited in the court. Thereafter, he was released from judicial custody.

what is the matter
It is worth noting that Sharad Yadav had made objectionable remarks during the election in the Labor Welfare Center ground in 2015. On this, the then administration had registered a case against him under the Model Code of Conduct. On Tuesday, a warrant was issued from the court for his presence from the Bihar Sharif court in Nalanda district regarding the same matter. He did not appear in the court due to ill health. His presentation took place in virtual mode through Google Meet.
