Let us tell you that there are 74 spans in this 1.5 kilometer long bridge, which will keep the bridge completely strong.

This new bridge is being built about 500 meters north of the old Abdul Bari bridge. Trains still pass through the upper lane of the Abdul Bari Koilvar bridge built by the British in 1962 across the Son river. There are also road purs under this bridge. The length of this bridge is 1440 meters. 5683 tonnes of iron has been used in the construction of the old Abdul Bari bridge on the Son river, while the length of the new bridge is 1528 meters. One lane of the bridge was inaugurated two years ago.

6 lane bridge built at a cost of Rs 825 crore

Union Road and Transport cum Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate on Saturday 14 May 2022 through video conferencing. On this occasion, Union Minister cum ARA MP RK Singh and many big leaders and officials will be present at the inauguration site. The length of the bridge is one and a half kilometer and width is thirty meters. The approach road on both sides of the six-lane bridge has been combined at a cost of Rs 825 crore, the second installment of which will be inaugurated on Saturday 14 May. Its cost is being said to be 266 crores. Which is included in the said total cost. The Up three lane bridge was inaugurated one and a half years ago on 10 December 2020. To make the opening ceremony grand, the sports ground of Koilvar Tara Mani Bhagwan Sao Plus Two School has been decorated.

The foundation stone of the road bridge construction work was laid on 27 July 2017

It has been told that decoration, stage and shed have been made in 20 thousand square feet. The foundation stone of this road bridge construction work was laid by Union Minister cum Ara MP RK Singh on 27 July 2017. At that time, the foundation stone laying program was held in village Parev of Patna district on the eastern bank of the Son river.
