Raj Thakrey’s Upcoming Ayodhya Visit: Controversy erupts over Raj Thackeray’s proposed visit to Ayodhya. BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh is opposing his visit. Singh came in front of the media about the North Indian people who were beaten up by the workers of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena. Singh said that if Raj Thackeray reaches Ayodhya, he will never be able to forgive himself. He claimed that he would not allow Raj Thackeray to enter Ayodhya even on the soil of Uttar Pradesh.
During this, he has presented many victims in front of the media in a press conference. Out of which a person named Mahesh Yadav told that in 2008, he and his family were assaulted for being North Indian. In this two people of Mahesh’s family were killed.
Victims of the incident were also raised in front of the media
During this, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh raised many victims of the 2008 incident in front of the media. These victims became emotional while telling their past and started crying. The victims told how Raj Thackeray’s workers beat him up at that time and forced him to leave Mumbai for being only North Indian.
Singh said that if Raj Thackeray wants to come to Ayodhya, then he will have to apologize for his act. Singh said that if Raj Thackeray does not want to apologize to the victims, then he should apologize to the saints. Apart from this, Singh also put before him the option of apologizing to UP CM Yogi Adityanath.
Can this attitude create problems for BJP in Maharashtra?
On the other hand, this attitude of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh can create problems for BJP in Maharashtra. On the issue of loudspeakers and Hanuman Chalisa, it is being speculated from the form of Raj Thackeray that he is coming closer to the BJP. Even Thackeray, who had earlier criticized Yogi Adityanath, is no longer tired of praising him.
However, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh made it clear that he has not been asked by any BJP leader to change his plan so far. He also said that Thackeray is coming to Ayodhya not for any religious work but for political work.
