Pakistan’s Balochistan Blast: At least one person was killed and 11 others were injured in a grenade explosion in Pakistan. This information was given by quoting the police in the media report. According to Geo TV’s report on Thursday, the explosion took place on the Joint Road in Quetta, Balochistan. In a similar incident last week, three people, including a policeman, were injured in an explosion outside Turbat Stadium in Quetta. In recent months, there have been several cases of bomb attacks in Pakistan.
News International quoted a police official as saying that the blast occurred on the city’s Airport Road when a match between two local teams was going on at the football stadium. According to ARY News, the explosion was followed by firing which caused panic in the stadium.

Meanwhile, in view of the increasing incidents of attacks on police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistani authorities have beefed up security at all checkposts and relieved the personnel responsible for the security lapse.
Meanwhile, Peshawar Capital City Police Chief Ejaz Khan has expressed displeasure over the increasing incidents of terrorism in Khyber and the killing of several policemen in the attacks.
