Drugs Smuggling: The BSF has foiled an attempt by Pakistan to smuggle drugs in the Samba area of Jammu and Kashmir. The jawans have recovered about 8 kilos of narcotic substance, which is believed to be heroin. So right there, a Pakistani smuggler has been injured after being shot by BSF jawans. The injured smuggler crawled into the territory of Pakistan and his body was bloody.
A BSF spokesperson said that an attempt was made to smuggle narcotics along the International Border in Samba on Thursday morning. On hearing this, the BSF soldiers asked the Pakistani smuggler to stop but he kept on moving forward. After this, the soldiers fired the bullet in which he was injured and crawled into the Pakistani border.
8 kg of narcotics seized
The BSF spokesperson further said that after being shot, the smuggler left about 8 kg of intoxicants and crawled towards Pakistan. This drug is believed to be heroin. When BSF personnel reached the spot, there was blood splattered. It is believed that the smuggler has been shot and is injured.
BSF jawans seen bringing sacks
Taking advantage of the darkness early today, a Pakistani smuggler was trying to enter the Indian border with a consignment of drugs. BSF jawans posted in Border Security saw him coming near the Indian border with a sack in his hand, then stopped him and then fired at him in which he went back injured.
