Uttarakhand News: Chamoli Police has arrested a vicious thug who cheated people of lakhs of rupees in the name of getting government jobs in different departments of Uttarakhand. According to the police, a youth named Harish Panchwal, who used to roam in luxury vehicles to woo people, has cheated gullible people in different parts of Uttarakhand in the name of getting government jobs from them. There are also many cases registered against the accused in the police stations of Dehradun.

Vicious thug arrested from Almora

This vicious thug came in the custody of the police when Akhilesh Kumar, a resident of Gauchar, filed a complaint in Kotwali Karnprayag that Harish Panchwal, a resident of Rudraprayag, had described himself as an acquaintance of many senior officers and leaders. Panchwal cheated Rs 10 lakh in the name of getting a job on the post of District Information Officer, when he is asking for money back when he does not get the job, he is not giving it. Taking cognizance of the seriousness of the incident, Chamoli Superintendent of Police Shweta Choubey has registered a case against Harish Panchwal. At the same time, he has been arrested from Almora by putting surveillance.

Used to stop calling after cheating

Superintendent of Police Chamoli Shweta Choubey told that a complaint was given by the plaintiff in Kotwali Karnprayag, in which it was told that a person named Harish Panchwal has taken 10 lakh rupees in the name of getting a job on the post of District Information Officer. Since then Panchwal has switched off his phone. He told that the team was formed under the leadership of CO of Karnprayag, then it came to the notice that Panchwal had cheated many people in the name of getting jobs.
