Char Dham Yatra 2022: In the initial phases of Chardham Yatra, the arrangements have gone off track. The situation is that passengers are not able to get vehicles to go from Rudraprayag to Kedarnath and Badrinath. Commuters have to wait for hours in the sun and thirst for vehicles. On the other hand, the passengers are getting upset due to the misbehavior of the horse-mule operators on the Kedarnath walking route.
Vehicles not getting passengers
Chardham Yatra is breaking its old records. If we talk about Kedarnath Yatra, then on the sixth day of the Yatra, more than one lakh devotees have seen Baba Kedar. While the pilgrims are gathering for Kedarnath’s darshan, the pilgrims are also facing problems. The biggest problem is being faced by the passengers in reaching the Dham. Passengers are not getting vehicles for hours. In Rudraprayag and Guptkashi for vehicles, commuters are standing on the roadside for hours.

Rudraprayag District Magistrate said this
Rudraprayag District Magistrate Mayur Dixit said that about two hundred vehicles are plying between Sonprayag and Gaurikund in the Sattal service. Due to which problems are happening. Instructions have been given to the Transport Department and the vehicle owners to operate the vehicle system on other routes also. Also, he had said on the previous day that 18 to twenty thousand passengers are visiting every day. There are problems with the increase in the number of passengers. In such a situation, travelers coming to Kedarnath should come to Kedarnath by booking hotel-lodge in advance. Compared to 2019, the number of passengers has increased tremendously by three times. Any passenger who is sick and get his checkup done in Sonprayag. He should go on the journey only after getting the checkup done. So far, twenty sick passengers have been rescued by helicopter.
