Chhattisgarh Health Minister TS Singh Deo has appealed to the people to be alert against Monkeypox, Kovid-19, Swine Flu and Monsoon related diseases. He said that due to the continuous seasonal changes in the monsoon months, the chances of getting many types of diseases increase. So people need to be careful.

All necessary guidelines issued to health officers and civil surgeons

He said that all necessary guidelines have been issued by the Health Department to all Medical College Hospitals, Chief Medical and Health Officers and Civil Surgeons. Along with this, all the districts have been alerted.

Singh Deo said that a suspected case of monkeypox had come to the fore but the investigation revealed that it was a negative case. But eight cases of monkeypox were reported in other parts of the country. So there was a need to be very careful. He said that 11 cases of swine flu have been identified in the state, out of which two patients have been cured. The remaining nine are being treated at a private hospital in Raipur.

Singh Deo urged people to use masks in crowded places, keep hands clean and follow the proper behavior of Kovid seriously. The minister said that in Sukma district, preliminary tests of water in villages affected by kidney disease have found excess iron and fluoride. Samples have been sent to check other heavy elements.
