To remind this promise, the All Departmental Contract Employees Federation is going on a one-day state-level strike on May 13 for its other demands including regularization.

The state president of the federation, Kaushalesh Tiwari, said that the Congress government is about to complete 4 years, but till now the government has not fulfilled the promise of regularizing the contract employees. The work of cheating the contractual employees is being done by the government continuously only by forming committees. There is deep dissatisfaction among the contractual employees about this situation and due to this, the contract workers of the state are being forced to agitate.

The state president of the federation said in a warning tone that at present, we are going on strike for only one day as a warning to the government, but if the demands are not accepted, we will go on an indefinite strike. MNREGA workers are also demanding
It is worth noting that more than 12 thousand employees of Mahatma Gandhi NREGA have been agitating for the last one and a half months demanding regularization. Due to this, the work under MNREGA is completely stopped in the state. Families working in MNREGA are facing financial loss.
