Chhattisgarh Assembly Election 2023: Assembly elections are to be held...
Chhattisgarh Assembly Election 2023: Assembly elections are to be held in Chhattisgarh in the next year i.e. 2023. In such a situation, the two main parties of the state BJP and Congress have also started preparations for the elections at their respective level. This is the reason why CM Bhupesh Baghel visited the assembly constituencies till a few days ago to win the trust of the people of the state once again under the ‘Bent meeting’ program.
On the other hand, it is being said that BJP is also preparing to enter the fray with a new strategy and leadership to give a tough fight to Congress and return to power.
In such a situation, the question is constantly arising whether the state president of BJP is going to change in Chhattisgarh? Will any new state president from former minister and sitting BJP MLA Brijmohan Agarwal faction be made? These questions are arising because BJP’s regional organization minister Ajay Jamwal will hold a meeting with the party’s MPs in Delhi on Friday night. At the same time, along with state president Vishnudev Sai, Pawan Sai is also going to Delhi. Narayan will go to Chandel’s Delhi with these people.
State President Vishnudev Sai may meet JP Nadda
It is being said that BJP’s Chhattisgarh state president Vishnudev Sai has been called by national president JP Nadda. At the same time, Narayan Chandel is also going to meet the national president. Overall, only one question is being raised that is the phase of change in Chhattisgarh BJP about to begin? This is not the first time that such questions are being raised. Even before this in May this year, such questions were raised after a statement by senior BJP leader and former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh.

Raman Singh gave this statement
Raman Singh had said in response to a question during a conversation with the media, “Many people have even sewn clothes to become the president. Everyone has a desire to become the president.” At the same time, he had also said that the tenure of the current team in the state is still very long. After this, there was a lot of discussion in the political corridors whether the state president of BJP would be changed in Chhattisgarh. Let us tell you that during the 2018 assembly elections, Dharamlal Kaushik was serving as the state president, but after the party’s defeat, he was given the responsibility of the leader of the legislature party in the assembly.
2 state presidents have been changed after the 2018 elections
After this, the party made tribal leader Vikram Usendi as the state president. Usendi was the president for only about a year. After this, the party gave Vishnudev Sai a chance to take over the leadership of Chhattisgarh BJP in 2020. Since then he has remained the state president. It is worth noting that in the assembly elections held in the year 2018, Congress got 68 seats and BJP got only 15 seats. At the same time, 7 seats were lost in the account of others, after which the BJP had to lose power.
