This has created a good impression of the people about Azamgarh and it has also increased the value of Uttar Pradesh.” Even though we may not have had MLA in Azamgarh, we had lost Azamgarh and Lalganj seats in the Lok Sabha elections too, but we did not let Azamgarh’s development stop. Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to Azamgarh in the year 2018 and laid the foundation stone of Purvanchal Expressway. This expressway has given a new impetus to the development of Azamgarh.

Yogi Adityanath said that now Lucknow can be reached in just two hours from Azamgarh through Purvanchal Expressway and can reach Delhi in just seven hours by Purvanchal Expressway, Agra-Lucknow Expressway and Yamuna Expressway. . Without naming anyone, he took a sarcasm and said, ‘For years there was a demand that a university should be established in Azamgarh. Earlier a lot of people came to Azamgarh but the university was also given by the government of double engine. Now a university is being constructed in Azamgarh in the name of Maharaja Suheldev on a war footing.
Announcing the establishment of a new research chair in Suheldev University in the name of renowned litterateur Rangeya Raghav, the Chief Minister said that Azamgarh has been the land of litterateurs. The compositions of the famous litterateur Rangeya Raghav give a new direction to all of us. ,
