Today, on the second day, the team surveyed the walls and domes of the mosque and it is believed that the survey work has been completed but the final decision will be taken by the Advocate Commissioner. On the orders of the judge of the Civil Court, the team of representatives appointed by the court along with the plaintiff and the defendant reached the mosque to conduct a survey. No problem came up during the survey. It is being told that the whole work was done in a smooth manner. The counsel for both the sides says that there was full cooperation from all the people in the survey. As a precaution, the security was tight during the survey.

Controversy over the pond on the second day of the survey

In the second day’s survey, a 7-8 feet pile was found inside the mosque which was covered with white paint. Amidst the survey, there has been a dispute over the pond near the Wazukhana in the mosque. The Hindu side and the Masjid Committee came face to face. The Hindu side demanded to drain the water of the pond. At the same time, the Masjid Committee has opposed the removal of water. According to information received from the sources of the Hindu side, during the survey on the side of the dome, the shape of Hindu tradition was seen on a wall, it has been painted with white lime. The survey team videographed it and also mentioned the insignia, which is giving strength to their point. According to the information, today’s survey was completed by 11.40 pm. After that the draft of today’s survey was prepared. After that the signatures of all the parties were done.

After this the survey team surveyed the western part of the mosque and there is a wall of the western side of the mosque, behind which there is a ruined relic. There is a demand from the Hindu side that a survey should be done by removing the debris. The Hindu side questioned the panting at some places in the mosque. Actually, there are gray colored stones in the inner part of the mosque. Some parts of them were painted. There was a dispute about that. The survey work was also interrupted for some time. But the court commissioner resolved the matter through negotiations.

On the first day of the survey, a team of 52 people went inside

First of all the survey team reached the mosque premises at 8:16 am. There were also cameras with this team. Videography and photography of the survey was also being done. A total of 52 people went inside the Gyanvapi survey, which included Court Commissioner Ajay Kumar Mishra, two associate court commissioners with him, people from the plaintiff’s side, DGC Civil, high officials of district administration, security personnel, videographers, photographers, etc. The mobiles of the team that went inside the premises for the survey were deposited outside. Then the team moved towards the basement. The cellar was studded with chains and locks.

The basement was cleaned, did wudu before entering

Artisans were called to break the lock. But the Intazamia committee gave the key to the cellar before that. The basement was so dirty that it could not be entered, so first it was cleaned. Wazu was done before entering the basement. Then taking off the shoes and slippers, the team entered the basement. Survey was done with team torch and halogen light.

This team had received instructions that religious books and mantras would not be touched. A total of 5 rooms were found in the basement, one of which did not have a door. After the survey, the above places have been sealed again. The plaintiff-respondent side fully cooperated in the survey work. Special cameras and lights were arranged for videography of the entire complex.
