Delhi COVID 19 Updates: In the national capital Delhi, an increase in corona cases has been seen today as compared to Tuesday. According to the data released by the Health Department at around 6.30 pm, 532 people have been infected with corona and the infection rate was recorded at 2.13 percent. In the last 24 hours, 24989 tests of corona were done in Delhi and 767 patients have been cured. There are currently 2675 active cases of corona in Delhi.
On Tuesday, 393 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported in the city and two patients lost their lives due to the infection. The infection rate was recorded at 3.35 percent. 11,731 samples were tested.
On Monday, 377 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported in Delhi and one person died, while the infection rate was 3.37 percent. On the other hand, 613 new cases of Kovid-19 came on Sunday and the infection rate was 2.74 percent and three patients died.
A day before this, 673 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported on Saturday and four people died due to infection, which is the highest number of deaths in a day in two months. At the same time, on March 7, three patients died of Kovid-19 and on March 4, four people were reported dead due to the disease.
The number of daily cases in Delhi touched a record high of 28,867 during the third wave of the pandemic on January 13 this year. Delhi recorded an infection rate of 30.6 per cent on January 14, the highest during the third wave of the pandemic and was largely due to the highly contagious Omicron form of the coronavirus.
