Delhi BJP Demands Renaming of Roads: Bharatiya Janata Party’s Delhi State President Adesh Gupta has written a letter to NDMC and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal demanding that the names of roads in the capital be changed. Names like Akbar Road, Babar Road, Shahjahan Road and Aurangzeb Lane should be changed after Maharana Pratap, Gurugovind Singh and General Vipin Rawat.

Adesh Gupta said that the name of Tughlaq Road in New Delhi has been changed to pay homage to a great figure like 10th Guru Gobind Singh ji of Sikh Panth, who founded the Khalsa Panth and sacrificed his four sons for the defense of the religion and the country. Guru Gobind Singh Marg should be done because this name symbolizes the slavery of the Mughals.

Adesh Gupta on Tuesday also wrote a letter to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, including the chairman of the New Delhi Municipal Council, demanding that the names proposed by us in our campaign against the symbols of slavery should be changed immediately after taking cognizance of it, because its demand for a long time. It was happening on time. People from different areas of Delhi were continuously making this demand together.

Demand to change the name of these marks
Adesh Gupta said that among the roads we have demanded to rename, Akbar Road has been renamed as Maharana Pratap Singh Marg, Humayun Road has been renamed as Maharishi Balmiki Road, Shahjahan Road has been renamed as CDS General Bipin Singh Rawat, Aurangzeb Lane. Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Lane, Babar Lane to be renamed after Khudiram Bose Lane. He said that making such a change in Delhi would be a true tribute to the brave sons of the country who sacrificed their lives for the country on the 75th anniversary of independence. It will also be a source of inspiration for the generations to come.

Akbar, Aurangzeb, Babur and Humayun cannot be ideals of the country
According to Adesh Gupta, Maharana Pratap, Guru Gobind Singh, Khudiram Bose, Maharishi Balmiki, APJ Abdul Kalam and General Bipin Singh Rawat are brave sons of the country, but invaders like Akbar, Aurangzeb, Babur and Humayun cannot be the ideals of the country. . He said that it is a matter of shame that Congress is carrying the symbols of slavery for so many years. This change should not be seen through the prism of Hindu-Muslim, because it is the sentiment of the common citizens of Delhi.

It is the misfortune of the country that the Congress, doing the politics of appeasement, named the roads and roads of the country after the foreign invaders after independence. But today the BJP has started the work of changing the names of villages changed during the time of foreign invaders inside Delhi. He said that the streets of Delhi should be renamed after the freedom fighters of the country, which would inspire the youth and everyone of the country.
