Bulldozer Action In Delhi: Bulldozer proceedings were again witnessed in Delhi today. Some shops were vandalized today with the help of bulldozers in Khichdipur area of Kalyanpuri in East Delhi. However, this time the bulldozer was not the action of the Municipal Corporation but the action taken by the DDA. In fact, the commercial activity on DDA’s land was going on for a long time, which was removed by the DDA today through bulldozers.
AAP leader protested, arrested
While on one hand the bulldozer in Delhi is not taking its name, on the other hand the politics on it is also increasing. When a bulldozer started in Kalyanpuri, Kuldeep Kumar, a local MLA from the Aam Aadmi Party, came to protest, who was immediately taken into custody by the police. So at the same time, the Delhi Government has asked the Corporation to file a report regarding the bulldozer proceedings being run by the Municipal Corporation today.
Delhi government sought report from all three municipal corporations
In fact, the Delhi government has sought a report from all the three municipal corporations since April 1, so that it can be clear that for what reasons this bulldozer action is being taken and whether notices were given to the people in advance for this or not. ? On behalf of the Delhi government, Aam Aadmi Party MLA Atishi said that wherever BJP people are not getting money, they are sending MCD bulldozers. Today, the people of Delhi want to know on what basis the bulldozer is going on in which area. There should be transparency on this.
Atishi said that we believe that when the list comes out, then the people of Delhi will know its reality. The reality is that BJP is getting bulldozers running only for its hooliganism and only for extortion. Based on that report, we (Delhi government) will take further action. Today, about 70 to 80 percent of the construction in Delhi is unauthorized. Is BJP going to run bulldozers on 80 percent of Delhi? It is necessary to answer this in front of the people of Delhi. Atishi said that wherever the bulldozer comes, the Aam Aadmi Party will oppose it. The question is whether a poor person cannot live in this city. This is the same BJP, which says at the time of coming elections that we will regularize unauthorized colonies.
BJP targeted you
When the Delhi government asked for a report from the BJP-ruled municipal corporation, Delhi BJP President Adesh Gupta, while replying to this, said that the proceedings of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi are not going on in any other planet but in Delhi itself. It’s going on in front of their eyes. All the media is also covering it. Adesh Gupta said that I can understand their concern, their concern is about the bulldozers on the land mafia and Rohingya-Bangladeshis.
In fact, earlier on May 16, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had a meeting with all his MLAs regarding the ongoing bulldozer proceedings in Delhi. In this meeting, he had told the MLAs that wherever the bulldozers go, all the MLAs should do the work of stopping it. Along with this, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had also clearly forbidden the Municipal Corporation from taking such action. It is clear that the Delhi government is now preparing to surround the BJP-ruled municipal corporation regarding the bulldozer, which is why now the Delhi government has asked the municipal corporation for a report on running the bulldozer so that further action can be taken on the basis of the report.
