Delhi Weather Update: People in the national capital faced heavy humidity on Monday. At the same time, most of the pollutants in the environment have been cleared due to the recent rains, due to which the air quality was satisfactory. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted cloudy sky and light rain on Monday. There is a possibility of moderate rain on Tuesday and heavy rain on Wednesday.

The IMD has predicted rain at isolated places over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan during the next 24 hours along with Delhi. Also, it is expected to happen between July 5 and 8. More than 20 mm of rain was recorded in some places of Delhi like Pitampura, Delhi University and North Delhi on Sunday.

According to the Meteorological Department, at present, pollution due to stubble burning and dust can increase. In fact, an air quality index between 0 and 50 is considered good. 51 to 100 satisfactory, 101 to 200 moderate, 201 to 300 poor, 301 to 400 very poor and an AQI of more than 401 is considered severe.

According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), IGI Airport is 108 in South West Delhi, RK Puram 81 in South Delhi, Aurobindo Marg 67 in South Delhi and Siri Fort 85 in South Delhi.
