Delhi-NCR Rain News: The Meteorological Department has forecast rain in some areas of Delhi-NCR. It has predicted rain in Palam, Ayanagar and Deramandi in Delhi and Gurugram and Manesar in NCR in the next two hours. Apart from this, light to moderate intensity rain and thundershowers may occur at Sonipat, Sohana and Palwal in Haryana, Aurangabad and Mathura and Sadabad in UP during the next 2 hours.
Earlier, after rain in some parts of the national capital on Thursday afternoon, people got some respite from the sultry weather. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the areas that received rain included East Delhi apart from a few places around India Gate. The IMD has forecast more rain in the next two days. The weather department said the city remained partly cloudy on Thursday morning and the minimum temperature was recorded at 26.8 degrees Celsius, which is normal for this season.

Humidity was recorded at 83 per cent in Delhi at 8.30 am on Thursday. IMD has predicted moderate rain today. An IMD official said, “The sky will remain cloudy and there is a possibility of moderate rain and thundershowers. The maximum temperature of the day is likely to be around 33 degree Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Department, till 8.30 am on Thursday, seven mm of rain fell during the last 24 hours. The national capital has received 312 mm of rainfall as against the normal rainfall (307.7 mm) since the onset of the monsoon season from June 1.
