Delhi-NCR Weather Report Today 11 August 2022: Delhi-NCR received strong sunlight on Wednesday and sweating profusely due to the increase in the heat. During this the temperature was recorded above normal. At the same time, after remaining dry for two days, the weather can once again take a turn in Delhi from Wednesday. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the sky will remain cloudy in Delhi on Wednesday and there may be light rain or drizzle. Also, strong winds will blow at a speed of 25 to 35 km. The maximum temperature can be around 35 and the minimum temperature can be around 28 degrees.

Apart from this, light rain or drizzle may occur in some parts of Delhi on August 12, 13 and 14. Heavy rain is expected on 15 and 16 August. Meanwhile, the maximum temperature will be around 34 to 35 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be around 25 to 28 degrees Celsius. Earlier, on August 9 and 10, the weather remained dry due to the shifting of the Monsoon Trough. Now this trough is shifting south of Delhi. At present, there is less chance of heavy rain in Delhi. The weather is going to be more or less similar in Noida and Gurugram.

  • On Wednesday, the minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded 1 27.8 degrees Celsius above normal and the maximum temperature was 37.5 degrees Celsius above normal.
  • The humidity level in the air was 54 to 77 percent.
  • The maximum temperature in Delhi is likely to be 35 and the minimum temperature is 28 degree Celsius on Thursday. The sky is cloudy and there is a possibility of light rain or drizzle.
  • The maximum temperature in Noida is expected to be 36.6 and the minimum temperature is 29.1 degree Celsius. It will be partly cloudy here.
  • The maximum temperature in Gurugram is 33 and the minimum temperature is likely to be 27 degree Celsius. It may be cloudy.

Relief from ‘air pollution’ continues in Delhi-NCR

According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi has been recorded at 82 in the ‘satisfactory’ category on Thursday morning. At the same time, 84 have been recorded in Noida and 76 in Gurugram. The AQI is defined as ‘good’ between zero and 50, ‘satisfactory’ between 51 and 100, ‘moderate’ between 101 and 200, ‘poor’ between 201 and 300, ‘very poor’ between 301 and 400. ‘ and between 401 and 500 are considered in the ‘severe’ range.
