ECI Announces Rajya Sabha Elections on 57 Seats: The Election Commission has announced the elections for the Rajya Sabha seats. According to the Election Commission, a total of 57 Rajya Sabha seats in 15 states will go to polls on June 10. Uttar Pradesh is very important in these seats, because 11 seats of UP are getting vacant, on which Rajya Sabha elections are to be held.
In these seats, 4 seats in Andhra Pradesh, 2 seats in Telangana, 2 seats in Chhattisgarh, 3 seats in Madhya Pradesh, 6 seats in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka ( 4 of Karnataka, 3 of Odisha, 6 of Maharashtra (Maharashtra), 2 of Punjab, 4 of Rajasthan (Rajasthan), 1 of Uttarakhand (Uttarakhand), 5 of Bihar (Jharkhand) ) of 2, polling will be held in 2 seats of Haryana. The notification for the elections will be issued on May 24. On the other hand, May 31 will be the last date for nominations.

The date for scrutiny of nominations has been fixed as June 1. At the same time, the last date for withdrawal of names is June 3. Voting for all 57 seats will be held on June 10 from 9 am to 4 pm. The counting of votes will take place on June 10 itself at 5 pm.
