Lumpy Skin Disease in Noida: Three cases of Lumpy Skin Disease have been reported in a village in Gautam Buddh Nagar. District Chief Veterinary Officer Dr Nikhil Varshney said that three animals were treated in a village after they were confirmed to be suffering from lumpy skin disease and all three are now healthy. He said that in many villages including Ladpura, Murshadpur, Beel Akbarpur, Maycha, Bodaki, Badalpur, there is talk of spreading such disease among animals.
In such a situation, the veterinary department is examining the animals. Gautam Budh Nagar District Magistrate Suhas LY told that the officials have been instructed to stop the cattle from coming to Uttar Pradesh from Haryana, Delhi. According to him, cattle fair will not be organized and animals will be sanitized regularly.

Causes of Lumpy Skin Disease
According to the information, this disease is spreading in cattle due to a virus. Which is called ‘Lumpy Skin Disease Virus’ (LSDV). It has three species. In which the first species is ‘Capripoxvirus’. Its others are Goatpox Virus and Sheeppox Virus.
Symptoms of Lumpy Skin Disease
It is being told that there are many symptoms of this disease. In which fever, weight loss, salivation, runny eyes and nose, less milk, different types of nodules appear on the body. Along with this, knots are also formed in the body in this disease. Along with this, it has also been seen that due to this, female cattle have to suffer infertility, abortion, pneumonia and lameness.
Know the remedy of this disease
Let us tell you that this is a kind of virus for which there is no concrete solution. In such a situation, animals will have to be stopped from going to the affected areas. At the same time, antibiotics, anti-inflammatory and antihistaminic drugs are given to avoid the disease. Let us inform that about 999 cattle have died due to lumpy skin disease in Gujarat so far. Most of which are cows and buffaloes. State Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Minister Raghavji Patel gave this information.
