UP Latest News: A case of theft of jewelery worth lakhs of rupees has come to light from the locker room of a bank in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. Thieves stole jewelery worth lakhs by breaking the roof of the bank’s locker room. The matter is of Saidpur branch of Union Bank of India. Where thieves entered the locker room of the bank by cutting the roof of the bank and stole jewelery worth lakhs kept in four lockers and escaped. When the bank employees and officers came to know about this, everyone was blown away.

It is being told that when the bank employees and officers reached the bank on Monday, they came to know about this incident. Bank officials informed the police about the incident of theft from bank lockers. On information, the police officers reached the bank and started investigation into the matter.

Police is also conducting forensic investigation and interrogation of bank employees. While this incident of theft from the locker room of UBI created a sensation in the area, there has been a stir among the bank employees and officers. At present, the police officers are engaged in the investigation of the case.

Varanasi IG K. Satya Narayan also arrived. He said that the theft has been done from 4 lockers of the bank’s locker room. He told that the bank officers are assessing the theft. The IG said that this case seems to be different from the incident of theft in banks in Kanpur and Chandauli. He has expressed apprehension that local thieves may have carried out this incident. At present, the police is engaged in the investigation of the case.
