Gujarat Election 2022: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi faced protests in Gujarat on Sunday when he was addressing a rally. Owaisi’s party is contesting elections on about three dozen seats in Gujarat, during which MP Owaisi was holding a public meeting in Surat. Meanwhile, Muslim youths opposed Owaisi by showing black flags to him and raised slogans of Modi-Modi.
This video of Asaduddin Owaisi’s protest is now going viral on social media. Although MP Owaisi has not yet responded to this. Owaisi had come to hold a meeting for his party’s candidate from Surat East seat. During this, senior party leader and former MLA Waris Pathan was also present with him. As soon as Owaisi started his speech on the stage, the people present there protested him by raising slogans. The youths raised slogans of Modi-Modi and showed them black flags. The AIMIM leaders present in the meeting became uncomfortable due to this sloganeering.

Stone pelting happened during the journey
Last week, MP Asaduddin Owaisi was traveling in the Vande Bharat train, during which the train was pelted with stones. AIMIM had alleged that stones were thrown at the Vande Bharat train, targeting Owaisi. But these claims of AIMIM were rejected by the police. On the other hand, Arvind Kejriwal, the convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party, also had to face opposition in Gujarat.
Parties put their strength
Let us tell you that the elections for 182 seats of Gujarat Legislative Assembly will be held on 1 and 5 December. All the parties have given full strength in election campaign and management. On behalf of BJP, PM Narendra Modi himself has taken command of the election campaign. Congress is also making every effort to return to power after 27 years, former party president Rahul Gandhi will address two big rallies in Gujarat, while Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal is making frequent visits to Gujarat. The results of the Gujarat elections will come on December 8.
