Gujarat Politics: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal claimed that the BJP is “intimidated” by the growing influence of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Gujarat. He asked whether the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was planning to announce Union Home Minister Amit Shah as its candidate for the chief minister’s post in the upcoming assembly elections in the state.

AAP’s national convener Kejriwal also asked whether the BJP was not happy with the work of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. Kejriwal tweeted, “Aam Aadmi Party is growing rapidly in Gujarat. The BJP is horrified. Is it true that in the upcoming assembly elections, BJP is going to declare Amit Shah ji as the chief ministerial face of Gujarat? Is BJP also angry with Bhupendra Bhai Patel’s work?

AAP engaged in election preparations
It is known that the assembly elections are to be held in Gujarat at the end of this year. Aam Aadmi Party is busy in all the preparations regarding this. Delhi CM and AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal is constantly visiting Gujarat. CM Arvind Kejriwal will be on a two-day visit to Gujarat from August 6 to 7. During this, CM Kejriwal will address the traders of Jamnagar at Townhall on 6th August and will address a public meeting in Chhota Udaipur on 7th August. During this, CM Kejriwal will also make an election announcement.

Party’s farmer leader Sagar Rabari will contest from Becharaji (District Mehsana). Apart from this, Bhimabhai Choudhary will fight from Deodar (constituency Banaskantha district), Vashram Sagathia will fight from Rajkot Rural, Shivlal Barsia will fight from Rajkot South, Jagmal Wala will fight from Somnath, Arjun Rathwa will fight from Chhota Udaipur, Ramdhaduk will fight from Kamrej (Surat), Rajendra Solanki will contest from Bardoli (Surat), Omprakash Tiwari will contest from Naroda (Ahmedabad city) and Sudhir Vaghani will contest from Gariadhar.
