Gurugram News: The Haryana Police arrested three people in the early hours of Monday for allegedly smuggling cattle and firing at some Bajrang Dal activists. These Bajrang Dal workers chased the vehicle from which 15 bullocks were allegedly being taken. Police said that the smugglers were taking 15 cattle from Punjab to Mewat in Haryana via KMP Expressway in a big truck. Police said a country-made pistol and some live cartridges were also found under the driver’s seat of the truck. Police said that after registering an FIR at Farrukhnagar police station, 13 bullocks have been sent to Kasan Gaushala.

Smugglers fired bullets at Bajrang Dal workers

According to the complaint lodged by Manesar resident Mohit alias Monu and Bajrang Dal workers, they had received information that a truck carrying cattle would go to Mewat on Sunday night. According to the complaint, Mohit then went to KMP Expressway along with his team members. And waited for the truck. Soon, they saw a heavy vehicle carrying cattle and tried to stop it. Instead of stopping the vehicle, the truck driver started firing on them in which they narrowly escaped. Seeing the traffic jam, the smugglers left the vehicle and the three smugglers started running away. Soon we caught all three.

Police arrested three accused

After getting the information, a police team also reached the spot and arrested all the three. Police said that the accused have been identified as Ramzani, Nuru and Amardeep. Police said that during interrogation, the accused revealed that Parvez Alam, who was present in another vehicle, managed to escape. SHO of Farrukhnagar police station Sunil Beniwal said, “We are interrogating the arrested accused and raids are being conducted to nab Parvez.
