Bomb Rumor In Gwalior Railway Station: In Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, the police have arrested a 39-year-old priest for misleading him by giving false information about the bomb at the railway station. A police officer has given this information on Wednesday. Government Railway Police (GRP) Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Shubha Srivastava said that the accused Laxman Das has been arrested under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. He said that the accused has a habit of doing this and he has done similar acts in Uttar Pradesh also.
Shubha Srivastava said that a call was received on emergency service number 100 at around 10.30 am on Monday, in which a bomb was planted at the railway station. Based on the phone number, the police traced Das, a native of Khairagarh in Agra district of Uttar Pradesh, the official said. The accused is a priest in a temple in Bhind district.
Along with this, he said that after giving wrong information, the accused switched off his phone and he has been arrested on Tuesday when the phone was switched on. Srivastava said that after receiving information about the bomb on the phone, the bomb disposal squad and sniffer dogs conducted extensive searches of Gwalior railway station, after which this information turned out to be false.
