IMD Alert: People have been devastated by the heat falling across the country. Everyone is waiting for the rain to get rid of this scorching heat. At the same time, it is raining heavily in Northeast Assam and Meghalaya and a red alert of rain has also been issued there in the coming 4 days. According to the alert issued by the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the coming 4 days in Assam and Meghalaya. After this warning, the IMD has issued a red alert in these areas from June 14 to June 18. The IMD said that there is a possibility of rain in other states of the Northeast during this period.
The Meteorological Department said that due to western disturbances, people of North India are also likely to get relief from the heat soon. There is a possibility of rain in the northern parts of the country including Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, and East Uttar Pradesh on June 16 and 17. Apart from this, conditions of rain are also visible in Jammu and Kashmir. While in Gujarat, Konkan Karnataka, Marathwada of Maharashtra, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu, according to the IMD, the monsoon has advanced.

Northern states will get relief from heat till June 16, 17
In North India, people are going to get relief from the heat on the coming 16th and 17th of Delhi and the adjoining areas of Uttar Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department, apart from Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, many states of North India are going to rain on these dates. IMD has given this information by issuing a press release. According to the press release issued by the IMD, in the coming 4 days, heavy rains have been forecast in West Bengal including the states of Assam, Meghalaya and Sikkim in the Northeast.
Know when the monsoon will arrive in North India
Meteorologists have said about the monsoon in North India that due to the strong western disturbance in the capital Delhi including North India, heat wave and hot dry winds have made life difficult for the people. The Meteorological Department further said, by June 15-16, the states of the northern part are also likely to get relief from this severe heat. According to the IMD, light rain is expected in the states of Bihar and Jharkhand due to pre-monsoon, while there is a possibility of monsoon knocking in Uttar Pradesh from June 20 to June 26.
