IPL 2022 Purple Cap: The Purple Cap has come out of the hands of Rajasthan Royals bowler Yuzvendra Chahal. Now it has been occupied by RCB’s Sri Lankan spinner Wanindu Hasaranga. Along with taking two wickets in the match on Friday night, Hasranga has snatched the purple cap from Chahal in this IPL season.
Wanindu of Royal Challengers Bangalore has taken 23 wickets in 13 matches so far this season with a bowling average of 14.65. His bowling economy has been 7.48. Rajasthan Royals spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has also taken 23 wickets in this season. In the next match of Rajasthan, this purple cap can be seen going to them again. At present, Harshal Patel, Kagiso Rabada and Kuldeep Yadav are also included in this race of Purple Cap.
