Naxalite Arrested in Jharkhand Palamu: Police campaign against Naxalites continues in Jharkhand. In this connection, the police have got great success in Palamu, Jharkhand. In Betapathar village of Manatu police station area under Palamu district, police on Wednesday arrested the self-styled area commander of underground Naxalite organization ‘Third Conference Presentation Committee’ (TSPC), Rajkumar Ganjhu with a weapon as part of a special anti-Naxal operation. The arrest of Ganjhu is a big success for the police.

Police was searching for 20 years
Superintendent of Police Chandan Kumar Sinha told the news agency that the arrested Rajkumar Ganjhu alias Girendra alias Nitish was being searched by the police for the last 20 years. He told that this Naxalite has come under police custody for the first time. He told that a country-made pistol and two cartridges have been recovered from the arrested Naxalites. The Superintendent of Police said that there are cases registered against this Naxalite for carrying out 11 Naxalite incidents in different police station areas.

Police is interrogating Naxalite
Chandan Kumar Sinha told that this Naxalite had come to meet his relatives in a house and had stayed in the said house at night, whose intelligence was received by the police. After getting the information, the Naxalites were caught in the raid that took place this morning. He said that the police interrogation of the arrested Naxalite is going on. It is believed that the police can get important information during the interrogation.
