Jharkhand Three killed in Land Dispute: In Garhwa district of Jharkhand, 3 people have died in violent incidents related to land dispute. Police said on Thursday that these incidents took place in Sukhbanda village of Sadar police station area on Wednesday night. Garhwa Superintendent of Police Anjani Kumar Jha said that Krishna Paswan (23) and Santosh Chandravanshi (30) were killed by stones at around 8.30 pm on Wednesday. Before that, both of them had allegedly shot and killed 26-year-old Vimal Kumar Singh.
Police force deployed in the village
The Superintendent of Police said, “These incidents seem to be related to some land dispute. The matter is under investigation.” He said that a police contingent has been deployed to prevent further escalation of tension in the village. At present, the police have sent the bodies of both the killed people for postmortem and have started investigating the matter.
