LPG Gas Connection Rate Increased: People are feeling the shocks of inflation on different fronts in the country. Government oil marketing companies have made it expensive to take domestic gas connections from today. To get a new domestic LPG connection, you will have to spend more money from today because the rates of security deposit of new domestic LPG connection have been increased. The new increased rates have come into effect from today.

How expensive will it be to get a new LPG connection according to the new rates applicable from today?

Consumers will now have to deposit a security deposit of Rs 2200 instead of Rs 1450 for every new gas connection. That is, for every new gas connection directly, the deposit rates have increased by Rs 750.

Regulator will also have to be expensive
The price of gas regulator has also increased from Rs 150 to Rs 250. Rs 150 will have to be paid separately for pipe and Rs 25 for passbook. In this way, a total of Rs 2200 for security + Rs 250 for gas regulator + Rs 150 for pipe + Rs 25 for passbook and other expenses like gas stove, a total of Rs 3690 will have to be paid for a new gas cylinder. If a person takes two new cylinders with a new gas connection, then he will have to pay Rs 4400.

Security deposit of 5 kg gas cylinder too expensive
Indian Oil, BPCL and HPCL have informed that the security deposit of 5 kg cylinder has also been changed from Rs 800 to Rs 1,150. Under the new rules for its pipe and passbook, Rs 150 and Rs 25 will have to be spent respectively.
