Kishore Kumar Birth Anniversary: Evergreen singer Kishore Kumar is a name that can never be forgotten. Kishore Kumar, rich in versatility, established himself in Bollywood as a singer, actor, producer, director and musician. Kishore Kumar was born on 4 August 1929 in Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh. Kishore Kumar’s childhood name was Abhas Ganguly. After coming to Bollywood, Kishore Da changed his name to Kishore Kumar.

There is an anecdote related to Kishore da canteen, Kishore da used to call the college canteen as Kaka’s canteen. When Kishore da left from here, he sang a song called Five Rupees Twelve Aana. These five rupees were the rest of Kaka in the twelve anana canteen and for this he sang this song. At the same time, we want to build a memorial of Kishore Da in the college premises, for which we have also demanded from the government. Let us tell you that Kishore Kumar started his film career in 1948. It has been 35 years since his melodious voice was silenced. Kishore Kumar died on 13 October 1987 due to a heart attack.
