Jirwal termed Shinde’s removal as the leader of the Shiv Sena Legislature Party valid. It is worth mentioning that Shinde had sent a letter signed by 35 MLAs to the Deputy Speaker on Wednesday. In the letter, it was said to replace Sunil Prabhu with Bharat Gogavale as the Chief Whip of the Shiv Sena Legislature Party. When asked about Shinde’s letter, Jirwal said, “Independent MLAs have no role in such matters related to the party. (Shiv Sena who went to Surat with the rebel leader) MLA Nitin Deshmukh has claimed that he has not signed the letter issued by Shinde. I will look into it and take a decision after consulting legal experts.
