Maharashtra Political Crisis: Amidst the crisis over the Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP coalition government in Maharashtra, Sharad Pawar held a meeting with senior party leaders at the YB Chavan Center in Mumbai. In this meeting, Sharad Pawar told the leaders that NCP is with Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA). Will fight till the last.

In fact, just before Pawar’s statement, senior Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut had said that the Shiv Sena is “ready to consider” the demand of the rebel MLAs led by Eknath Shinde to leave the MVA. Sanjay Raut has given this statement after meeting with Uddhav Thackeray.

Shiv Sena’s rebel leader Eknath Shinde has demanded that Shiv Sena break the alliance with Congress and NCP in Maharashtra and form government with BJP. Eknath Shinde is camping in a hotel in Guwahati with about 45 MLAs.

On Sanjay Raut’s statement, Ajit Pawar said that it is his right. Why did he say that, I do not know. I will definitely ask Uddhav Thackeray why Sanjay Raut has said this? We will stand by Uddhav till the end. All NCP MLAs are supporting MVA, we are not going to back down from this.

All MLAs, MPs and leaders were present in Sharad Pawar’s meeting. Ajit Pawar, a minister in the Maharashtra government, said that our role is to run the Aghadi government. It is the responsibility of all three of us to sustain the government.
