Fire In Ahmedabad: A case of fire has come to light in a four-storey building located in Ahmedabad, the capital of Gujarat. A fire brigade official, who reached the spot on the information of the fire, said that a fire was reported in Dev Complex near Parimal Garden. There is also a children’s hospital inside the complex from where a total of 50 people, including ten children, have been safely evacuated, the fire official said. To control the fire, 27 fire tenders reached the spot. The fire officer said that the fire started on the third floor of the building, while the children’s hospital is on the fourth floor.
Fire officials said that due to the fire, smoke had spread throughout the building. Fire officials said the fire appeared to have started in the server room of an accounting firm located on the third floor of the building. Fire officials said that around 60-70 people, including 13 children, were present in the children’s hospital located on the fourth floor when the building caught fire.
Fire department engaged in finding out the cause of the fire
The fire brigade officer said that as soon as the information was received, firefighters reached the spot and took out 50 people, including ten children, safely. He told that the patients admitted in the hospital have been taken to the nearest hospital for treatment. The fire brigade team is investigating the place of fire, as well as has started searching for the real reason behind the fire.
