Hanuman Chalisa Row: State Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena President Raj Thackeray are face to face on the loudspeaker and Hanuman Chalisa controversy in Maharashtra. Cases have been registered against many MNS workers on this matter and they have also been arrested. Raj Thackeray condemned the Maharashtra government for the arrest of the workers and has also warned his cousin Uddhav Thackeray not to test their patience. Raj Thackeray has presented the figures on the arrest of the workers, while the police also presented their figures. If these two figures are matched, then the difference between the ground and sky is clearly visible in them. Now in such a situation, this matter seems to be getting more dragged.
Yesterday, MNS Chief Raj Thackeray wrote a letter to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and claimed that action is being taken against MNS workers by the police and because of this he is angry.
Outrage in the letter and figures of arrest of activists presented
Raj Thackeray had warned that the only thing I have to say to the state government is that do not test our tolerance, power comes and goes, no one remains in power forever, not even you Uddhav Thackeray. Raj Thackeray had said that our workers are being searched as if they are terrorists from Pakistan. Raj Thackeray also claimed that the police have given notices to about 28 thousand of his people.
Maharashtra Police figures tell a different story
According to the data, Maharashtra Police has registered 10 cases till May 10 and arrested 64 people. Apart from this, preventive action was taken against about 3860 people and about 9334 people have been given notice under section 149 of CrPC. Even when all these are added, Maharashtra Police has done against 13,258 people. Which is not even half of the figure given by Raj Thackeray.
