Indian Railways News: The central government has taken an important decision today to strengthen rail operations in the country. The Modi cabinet has today approved to connect Taranga, Abu, Ambaji with the rail network. Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that today the Union Cabinet has approved the proposal of Taranga Hill-Ambaji-Abu Road new rail line to provide connectivity and improve mobility. Anurag Thakur said that the cost of this project will be Rs 2798.16 crore, which will be completed by 2026-27.

Let us tell you that the government’s demand to connect this Taranga Hill-Ambaji-Abu road with the rail network was being made for a long time. After getting the approval of the cabinet, now the work of connecting this rail network will be started. Let us inform that with the start of this rail network, the people living in the frontier of Gujarat and Rajasthan will get a lot of convenience from it.

Cabinet granted university status to Railway Institute

Apart from this, the Union Cabinet has approved the grant of university status to the Railway Institute located in Baroda, Gujarat, where training related to this is provided. Along with giving university status to this railway institute, its name has also been changed. After getting the status of the university, it has been named ‘Gati Shakti University’.
