MP NEWS: A 108 feet high Ashtadhatu statue of Lord Rama is being built in Guna, Madhya Pradesh. It will be installed on Ramtekari. It is situated near the famous old Balaji (Tekari Sarkar) hill of Guna. There are three mountains in a row. These mountains enhance the beauty of Guna city. The work of making this idol started on the day Prime Minister Narendra Modi had laid the foundation stone of Ram temple in Ayodhya.
A 108 feet high statue of Lord Ram to be installed in Guna is about to take shape. A 108 feet high statue will be installed on a 200 feet high hill of Purposar adjacent to Tekri Sarkar, the famous site of Guna. Rs 50 crore will be spent on Ram Tekri’s project. The cost of the idol will be around Rs 1 crore. Gwalior’s sculptor Prabhat Rai is making this 108 feet high statue of Lord Rama. This idol is being prepared from Ashtadhatu. This idol of Shri Ram will be the tallest in Madhya Pradesh.
Work done fast after covid
It has been two years since the project started. The work had slowed down a bit due to Kovid, but now the work is going on at a fast pace. Till now the work of returning wall on Ram Tekri has been completed. 20 feet high base has been started for the statue. Its work is going on at a brisk pace. This Panchayat is the dream project of Rural Development Minister Mahendra Singh Sisodia. Sisodia told that on Ram Tekri, he has got the work of roads, toilets, Haat Bazaar and community building done at the government level with Rs. On the other hand, Panchayat Rural Development Minister Mahendra Singh Sisodia said that its inauguration will also be done by Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
