Indore: In Indore, the financial capital of Madhya Pradesh, vehicles are being acquired for Panchayat (Pamchayat) and urban body elections. Under this, about 750 vehicles will be acquired. School buses will also be installed for election duty. The use of school buses for election duty will also affect the education in schools. On the other hand, buses have been sent from Indore on the demand of Harda district administration.

What did the district transport officer say

In fact, the first phase of polling in the Panchayat elections will be held on June 25. After this, the voting for the urban body elections will be held on 6th July. In view of this, the district administration has completed its preparations. Vehicles are being acquired to take the polling parties to the polling stations. This also includes school buses.

District Transport Officer Jitendra Singh Raghuvanshi told that about 750 buses will be acquired in Panchayat and Municipal Corporation elections. Polling parties will be sent to the polling stations by these buses. Buses were sent on June 23 for the Panchayat elections to be held in Indore on June 25. At the same time, 450 buses will be acquired for the urban body elections to be held on June 6. Polling teams will be taken from these buses to the respective polling stations.

Buses have also been sent harda

Apart from the passenger buses plying from the bus stand, school buses will also be deployed for election duty. In this regard, the buses have been acquired on the basis of meeting and consent with the concerned bus and school operators. At the same time, the Collector of Harda wrote a letter to the Collector of Indore, Manish Singh, demanding 77 buses for the elections. On their demand, Indore RTO has provided 77 buses to Harda.
