Indore: Akash Vijayvargiya, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Indore, the financial capital of Madhya Pradesh, has complained to the police that some people have been threatened by allegedly hacking his mobile phone. They allege that money has also been demanded from those who have been threatened. A police officer gave this information on Wednesday. The police have not given the details of those who were threatened by Akash Vijayvargiya’s phone.

Guru Prasad Parashar, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Anti-Crime Branch), Indore Police said, “We are investigating with the help of cyber experts on the complaint of the MLA that some people were intimidated by misusing his phone number through hacking and Money was demanded from them.” Parashar, however, did not disclose the names of those who were allegedly called from Vijayvargiya’s mobile number, citing probe into the matter.

Akash Vijayvargiya is the son of BJP’s national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya. He is often in discussion about his statements and work. He was also accused of beating up a municipal corporation officer. He is a BJP MLA from Indore-3 assembly constituency of Indore.
