Jehanabad: On the Patna-Gaya railway line, the police of the railway station has got success in nabbing the vicious criminals who carried out the incident of looting and looting from the passengers. On Friday, the Railway Police, while uncovering a robbery case, arrested two criminals involved in the incident. 1600 rupees cash, mobile and charger have also been recovered from the arrested criminals.
Actually, the criminals caught by the Railway Police are Rakesh Kumar and Ajit Kumar, residents of Unta Mohalla of the city. Both of them used to carry out many incidents of snatching and looting in the railway premises and surrounding areas. On June 28, a railway passenger was robbed of Rs 10,000 from the station premises. After the complaint, the police of the railway station started investigation and the CCTV footage installed in the surroundings was scanned. On the basis of the footage, both the criminals were identified and raided and both were arrested. Police is currently interrogating both.

What did the railway police officer say?
In this regard, Railway Police officer Muneshwar Ram said that on June 28, a railway passenger was robbed of Rs 10,000 in the Jehanabad railway station premises, in which Rs 1600 was recovered from the criminals. During interrogation, both the criminals admitted their involvement in the incident and told that the rest of the money was spent. At present, the police is engaged in further action after strictly interrogating both the criminals. The police is trying to identify the other members of the snatching gang operating on the Patna-Gaya rail route through them. Let us tell you that the incidents of robbery and snatching from passengers keep happening on the Patna-Gaya railway line. Many times the passengers do not even file a report with the police regarding this.
